Chile’s Power-Grid Expansion Tenders Reference Nearly US$3.8 Million in Investment

On 27 October, Interchile announced tenders for expansion works at the Nueva Cardones and Nueva Maitencillo 220-kV substations, with reference values of US$1,896,506 and US$1,880,310. The tenders concern electrical infrastructure rather than a dedicated IT contract, and the documents are available for purchase for 25 UF including VAT; technology providers and energy operators can explore grid-data platforms, equipment monitoring and engineering analytics, while HPC can provide computing and technology-planning support with quotations based on the confirmed workload.
