HSBC Arranges US$105 Million Green Loan for Vietnam’s Power Distribution Network

On 27 October, HSBC Vietnam announced an eight-year syndicated green loan worth US$105 million for Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC), involving 15 lenders. The financing will support battery energy storage systems at 70 existing 110kV substations to strengthen electricity distribution and grid resilience. HPC can support energy companies with AI-driven energy analytics, advanced computing infrastructure and sustainable technology planning.
