Kazakhstan Extends Petroleum Export Restrictions for Six Months

On 6 November, Kazakhstan announced a new six-month restriction on exports of gasoline, diesel and certain petroleum products by road and rail, effective from 22 November 2026 to 22 May 2027, with specified exemptions. Separate restrictions on certain petroleum products exported beyond the Eurasian Economic Union are scheduled for January–June 2027. No monetary contract value was announced. This creates demand for trade compliance advisers, customs specialists, logistics consultants and regulatory lawyers; HPC can connect businesses with compliance and cross-border trade specialists.
